MARTINA MADINI

Italian classical-contemporary saxophonist based in Rotterdam, NL. Alto saxophone of Quartet Echo, saxophone ensemble specialized in contemporary repertoire that made its debut at the De Doelen theatre in Rotterdam.

She is part of the chamber orchestra for the opera performance of Goldilocks in Amsterdam during the Opera Forward Festival at the De Nationale Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam. She won the first prize with Brixiae Harmoniae at the Flicorno d'Oro competition, receiving a special mention as the best soprano saxophone performer. She is currently pursuing a master's degree under the guidance of Femke
IJlstra at Codarts, Rotterdam Conservatory.
